It's a job

Popped into Crystal Palace Park with DrD this afternoon to take advantage of the unseasonally warm weather and take some photographs.

While admiring the abundance of holly berries (means a hard winter to come, apparently) we spotted a group of four hard-hatted men working high up on the transmitter tower.

I don't now exactly what they were doing, but they made the trip up and down the tower in a small, red, cherry-picker basket on a wire. All very precarious-looking and while the thought of going up there does give me the willies, I bet the view is amazing.
